KAWAII!!!! ^^ Let's go to Charlie Brown Cafe!









OK, 2nd post of the day....taking a break from studying....speaking of taking a break.

We grew up with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Woodstock....and now we can eat them! (or eat with them ;p)....Overwhelming positive reviews on OpenRice showed this cafe does not just have the gimmicks but the quality as well....

富有特色的cafe,擺設, 天花, 牆, 枱全以史路比為主題! 環境一流,雖然採取半自助服務,自行到櫃面買東西,食物(甜品除外)及飲品由職員捧來,定時也會有職員給你收拾枱面,亦不會催你離開/盡快點東西吃,更會在送食物時確認有沒有漏單,很貼心的服務.

文華東方酒店 Clipper Lounge都會不定期推出甜品自助餐。夏季周末就推出鮮果 dessert buffet。逾 30款精緻甜品以法式及英式口味為主。另有一些全新推出的甜品,如綴以焦糖脆粒的天使蛋糕及一系列色彩繽紛的 cup cakes。當然少不了深受歡迎的招牌作芝士餅!文華的甜品一向有口碑,整體甜品賣相精美,甜度適中,不會很膩。

I LOVE EGG TARTS!




HK$5/US65¢. The most famous egg tarts in Hong Kong. Also known as "Fat Pang Egg Tart" (named after our last governor of HK, Chris Patten). HAVE TO GO!!!! I'm sick of oily greasy egg tart as I am a true believer of crusty crunch aromatous egg tart. Arrrrr....I LOVE EGG TART, I LOVE HONG KONG, I LOVE FAT PANG.

戀戀懷舊風

這家以舊香港風情作主題的餐廳,佔地兩層,每層都代表不同年代的香港。
地下是仿照六十年代盛極一時、現時全港只剩下 28間的街邊大牌檔而設計。天花吊着幾盞火水燈、灰色粗糙的牆身和開放式廚房傳來師傅在炒菜的爐火聲,都令人勾起在街邊大牌檔的味覺回憶。

Next post (hello? anybody home? am I talking to myself?) comes our favorite (bubble-bear and "wai"-sik's) egglettes!

Even though us californians get spoiled with having some HK eateries around us, there's nothing...nothing compared to the egglettes (and "woon jai chi", or cup-o-shark-fin) from HK.

To commenmorate and declare our love for Hong Kong street food, here's my tribute to this specialized egglette store: 雞蛋仔專門店

日賣一千底! 雞蛋仔每日朝 11晚 12不停出爐, 雞蛋仔口味夠多。 原味、朱古力、香芋、士多啤梨、芝士,在旺角算 No.1。款式也動過腦筋,雞蛋仔加入食材在其中,增加咬口;香芋加熟了的香芋粒;朱古力加朱古力粒,芝士則加芝士粒。最罕見是芝士味,外層尚算香脆,咬開裏面吃到半溶芝士,像吃迷你芝士蛋糕,新鮮感十足。

AQUA (Aqua Roma/Tokyo in TST)






Time to REVIVE this blog that has been in a deep coma for past year and a half!!!!!!!!

OK, FIRST post in 2010 in preparation to our summer trip comes from a desire to go there for the past two years: Aqua Roma/Tokyo in TST.

It really says a lot when the first google tag for Aqua Roma links to numerous positive reviews from Tripadvisor, scoring a solid 3.5 stars....with comments of "Out of this world".

Ok, I know the food is kinda pricy. My advice is: DO NOT GO THERE FOR DINNER (avg $500-600 per head). Lunch sets are reasonable at around $98 per set. My secret desire is to actually try the Sunday brunch for $498. Come on, $498 for all you can eat, hot plated lunch, with a stunning view, is WORTH it. ;pppppp
